Journalist Sachin Sharma appointed as Commission Friend for Rewa by MP Human Rights Commission

Pandit Sachin Sharma 'Surya', an independent journalist and social worker from the Vindhya region, has been appointed as Commission Friend for Rewa by the Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission in Bhopal. The appointment was made by Dr. A.P. Singh, retired IAS officer and Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission, Bhopal.

The appointment has generated joy among people associated with journalism and social work. It is being regarded as an important responsibility in the direction of protecting human rights, bringing the problems of common people to the fore, and ensuring the voices of those in need reach the concerned platform.

Sachin Surya has been active in the field of journalism for a long time and is recognized for prominently raising issues related to public interest. His journalism has consistently given prominence to the problems of common citizens, difficulties at the administrative level, law and order, social concerns, and subjects of public interest.

The purpose of the Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission's nomination of Commission Friends is to create an important link between the common people and the Commission in matters related to human rights. The Commission has previously appointed Commission Friends at the regional level. They play a supportive role in making common citizens aware of their human rights, conveying information about cases of human rights violations to the Commission, and helping people in need reach their problems to the appropriate platform.

The appointment of Pandit Sachin Sharma 'Surya', an accredited journalist of the Madhya Pradesh government, as Commission Friend is being viewed in connection with journalism and social concerns. Due to his constant contact with people at the ground level as the fourth pillar of society, he will have the opportunity to play an important role in understanding and bringing forward the problems of common citizens and issues related to human rights. This role is also important in taking any person's complaint, problem, or case of violation of rights related to human rights through the proper process to the concerned platform once it comes to light.

Sachin Surya, a resident of village Gondri in the Mangawan assembly constituency of Rewa district, has always worked to give priority to issues of public interest through his journalism. This new responsibility from Rewa in the Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission is being seen as an additional medium to advocate for human rights and the interests of common people, going beyond journalism.
