Speaking to Fox News, Trump stated, “Next week comes the power plants. Next week comes the bridges. We’re going to knock out all their power plants. We’re going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate.”

The president’s remarks signal a hardline approach as the conflict enters its fourth day. Despite ongoing backchannel communications, the Trump administration has ruled out formal negotiations while Iran continues its actions in the Strait of Hormuz.

Gulf Nations on High Alert

The conflict has also heightened tensions in Gulf nations hosting US forces. Missile alert warnings were issued in Bahrain and Kuwait on Wednesday morning as Iranian fire targeted facilities in the region. The US Fifth Fleet, based in Bahrain, was among the sites hit by Iranian retaliatory strikes earlier this week.

The IRGC has warned that it could close other export routes serving US and allied interests if Washington continues its efforts to control maritime traffic in the region.
