Hindu groups protest alleged Krishna insult, seek action in Indore

A delegation from the Sakal Hindu Samaj and Mahadevi Divya Dham Seva Samiti submitted a memorandum to officials in Indore protesting against the alleged insult to Lord Krishna and demanding appropriate action against those responsible.

The protest was organised under the leadership of Pandit Rajesh Shastri Ji Maharaj, the Peethadhishwar of the Samiti. The delegation met with the concerned official Rajesh Dandotiya and handed over the memorandum seeking proper action in the matter.

During the protest, a child dressed in the traditional attire of Lord Krishna was presented, and the memorandum was submitted through him. Those present at the event declared that any insult to the forms of deities connected to the religious sentiments and faith of Hindu society would not be accepted under any circumstances.

Through the memorandum, the delegation demanded an impartial investigation into the matter and action against the guilty according to the rules. The protest saw the participation of several members of the Sakal Hindu Samaj, including Rajat Pandit, Abhishek Agarwal, Akshay Gehlot, Ramnaresh Sharma, Krishnakant Dubey, and Dayal Sonkar, among others.

The memorandum was submitted by reporter Ankit Khare as the Hindu organisation registered its strong protest against the alleged disrespect shown to Lord Shri Krishna, reiterating that the religious sentiments of the Hindu community must be protected and respected.
