Heavy Police Deployment Near Ujjain Shahi Masjid Amid Widening Drive

A major administrative move is underway in Ujjain in connection with the Simhastha widening drive, with heavy police deployment in the Chhatri Chowk Shahi Masjid area.

Preparations are being made for possible action at the Shahi Masjid located at Chhatri Chowk. A large police force has been deployed in the area, while the Muslim side is also present there in large numbers.

As part of the Simhastha widening campaign, the administration may begin a major action to remove alleged encroachment linked to the Shahi Masjid at Chhatri Chowk.

Since late night, the area has been turned into a police cantonment. Units of the RAF and STF have been deployed on the spot.

Police are keeping a close watch on law and order, and the force has been kept fully alert.

To maintain law and order and security arrangements, the police force has been deployed under the leadership of Ujjain Superintendent of Police Pradeep Sharma. Police officers and personnel are present at the site to ensure security and arrangements during the entire action.
