Gwalior: 4 Habitual Offenders Externed, 4 Ordered To Furnish Bonds

Gwalior, 24 September 2026: Collector and District Magistrate Smt. Ruchika Chauhan has taken action against 8 habitual accused under the State Security Act. The action has been taken on the basis of reports submitted by the Superintendent of Police.

Out of these 8 habitual accused, 4 have been externed from the district. In a separate action, 4 other accused have been ordered to submit bonds of 50, 50 thousand rupees at the concerned police stations for maintaining good conduct. District Magistrate Smt. Chauhan has issued separate orders in this regard.

Collector and District Magistrate Smt. Chauhan has externed habitual accused Pawan alias Prince Jat, resident of village Urva under Chinour police station area; Shailu alias Upendra, resident of village Bagwai under Bhitarwar police station area; Shivdatt alias Dhanse Rajawat, resident of Shivnagar Ghosipura under Janakganj police station area; and Sheru alias Surendra Goswami, resident near Do Bhai Ki Dukaan, Garam Sadak, Murar, for a period of 6 months.

All these accused have been ordered to move outside the limits of Gwalior district as well as the neighbouring districts of Bhind, Morena, Shivpuri and Datia. Serious criminal cases are registered against these accused in different police stations.

The accused against whom action has been taken under the State Security Act for submitting bonds of 50, 50 thousand rupees include Bhura Batham, resident of Sativihar Colony, Machhli Mandi, Ladhedi, under Gwalior police station area; Yogendra alias Monu Sengar, resident of Gudagudi Ka Naka, Sengar Colony, under Madhoganj Lashkar police station area; Gurpal alias Gurupal alias Girpal, resident of village Daulatpur, presently at Sheetla Mata Mandir Road, Chinour, under Chinour police station area; and Sunny alias Anil Kamariya, resident of Bulbulpura, Ghasmandi, Gwalior, under Gwalior police station area.

All these accused have been directed to appear at their respective police stations and execute the bond for maintaining good conduct within the prescribed time limit.

The orders make it clear that the action has been taken separately in each case under the State Security Act, based on the reports of the Superintendent of Police. The district administration has also specified the duration of externment in the cases of the 4 accused who have been ordered to leave Gwalior and the surrounding district limits for 6 months.
