Ghaziabad temple celebrates third day of grand Ganesha festival with sacred rituals

The historic Siddha Peeth Shri Dudheshwarnath Math Mahadev Temple in Ghaziabad marked the third day of its grand Shri Dudheshwar Ganapati Laddu Mahotsav with elaborate rituals including a special abhishek, shringaar and Sahasranama puja of Lord Ganesha, organised under the presidentship of the temple's Peethadhishwar and president of the Delhi Sant Mahamandal, Shrimahant Narayan Giri Ji Maharaj.

The acharyas of Dudheshwar Ved Vidyapeeth conducted the ceremonial abhishek of Lord Ganesha with Vedic chants and mantras. During the Ganapati Sahasranama ritual, devotees offered laddoos and durva grass while chanting the one thousand sacred names of Lord Ganesha. Following this, the divine shringaar of Lord Ganesha was performed, accompanied by the maha aarti and distribution of prasad.

The sacred occasion witnessed the dignified presence of several prominent saints and religious leaders from across the region. Among those present were Mahamandaleshwar Naval Kishore Das Ji Maharaj, general secretary of the Delhi Sant Mahamandal, secretary Mahant Kanchan Giri Ji Maharaj, Mahant Dhirendra Puri Ji Maharaj, treasurer and head of Lambe Hanuman Temple in Karol Bagh Mahant Raman Giri Ji Maharaj, and Kotwal Mangal Das Ji Maharaj. Also in attendance were Shrimahant Girishanand Giri Ji Maharaj of the ancient Devi Temple in Ghaziabad, Mahant Mahesh Das Ji Maharaj of Baba Lal Temple in Ghaziabad, and Rakesh Tiwari Ji of Jyotish Bhavan in Ayodhya, along with numerous other saints and spiritual leaders. All the assembled saints performed the puja of Lord Ganesha and prayed for the welfare of all people.

The special puja was conducted with full ritual propriety and Vedic chanting by a team of learned acharyas from Dudheshwar Ved Vidyapeeth, including secretary Acharya Lakshmikant Ji, Acharya Nityanand Ji, Acharya Rohit Tripathi Ji, Acharya Deepak Singh Ji, and Acharya Ajay Dadhich Ji, along with other erudite scholars.

A key role in the organisation and overall management of the festival has been played by Shri Anuj Dharm Garg Ji, president of the Dudheshwar Vikas Samiti, a well-known social worker and industrialist. All arrangements for the programme are being conducted smoothly under his guidance and support.

The entire arrangements and management of the festival are being overseen by Shrimahant Gauri Giri and the Dudheshwarnath Mahadev Math Temple Committee. The contributions of all office bearers of the temple committee, acharyas, staff members and service-minded workers have been crucial in making the event successful. Shri Vijay Mittal Ji and the Singer Seva Samiti have also extended special cooperation in the arrangements.

Addressing the gathering, Shrimahant Narayan Giri Ji Maharaj said that worship of Lord Ganesha removes all obstacles from life and bestows devotees with happiness, prosperity, good wisdom and auspiciousness.

On the concluding day of the festival, a grand immersion procession of Lord Ganesha will be taken out from Shri Dudheshwarnath Temple. The procession will feature colourful tableaux and is expected to see large participation from devotees and worshippers.
