From Child Star to Dentist: Sachet Seth's Inspiring Transformation

From playing the role of Ishaan’s “perfect” elder brother Yohaan in Taare Zameen Par to becoming a dentist in the UK, Sachet Seth’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. The 2007 film showcased Yohaan as the disciplined, high-achieving sibling, a stark contrast to Ishaan’s struggles with dyslexia. Off-screen, Sachet’s life has mirrored that same drive and focus.

After his brief stint in Bollywood, which also included a role in the 2010 comedy Khatta Meetha, Sachet decided to step away from acting and focus on academics. He pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from D.Y. Patil University, where he graduated as a gold medalist in Periodontology. His academic journey didn’t stop there, Sachet later completed a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry (Periodontology) from the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London between 2020 and 2023.

Sachet’s transition from a child actor to a successful dentist highlights his determination to carve out a new path for himself. While many child stars struggle to find their footing after early fame, Sachet chose to prioritize education and build a career far removed from the limelight.

Today, Sachet Seth is a certified dentist in the United Kingdom, proving that life after Bollywood can be just as fulfilling, if not more. His story serves as a reminder that success comes in many forms, and sometimes, stepping away from the spotlight can lead to even greater achievements.
