The programme was organised under the ‘Seva Sankalp Pakhwada’ being conducted by the Bharatiya Janata Party from September 17 to October 17 on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.

Various service activities are being carried out across the district as part of the campaign. Under the same initiative, Pandit Ashish Sharma has been distributing notebooks, study material and other necessary items to students in schools located in rural areas, with the aim of encouraging them towards education.

A programme was held on the auspicious occasion of Sharadiya Navratri. During the event, former municipal chairperson Pandit Ashish Sharma performed Kanya Pujan as per religious rituals and sought the blessings of the girls.

After the Kanya Pujan, umbrellas were distributed among the school’s girl students to protect them from sunlight and rain. Notebooks and other educational material were also given to the students for their studies.

The students were happy after receiving the necessary items. The programme focused on supporting children in their education and encouraging them to continue their studies despite a lack of resources.

Addressing the students and other people present at the programme, Pandit Ashish Sharma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life is dedicated to serving the last person in society and to nation-building.
