Family living under plastic sheets after home collapse gets help to rebuild in Pratapgarh

A family in Pratapgarh district that was forced to live under plastic sheets after their home collapsed during the rains is now receiving help from social workers and public representatives to rebuild their lives.

The house of a family in Kutiliya Majra, Raigarh Gram Sabha under Babaganj block, had collapsed during the monsoon. After the house fell, the family was compelled to live under the open sky by stretching plastic sheets for shelter. Due to a weak financial condition, the family faced a major housing problem.

Seeing the distress of the affected family, social workers, public representatives and villagers from the area have now come forward to help. An initiative has been started to build a new house for the family. As part of this effort, Yug Purush Anand Pandey performed the formal foundation stone worship ceremony.

Meanwhile, local MLA Vinod Saroj has assured the affected family that a road will be constructed up to their house. The MLA said that the section for approximately one kilometer of road has already been completed. The road construction will be carried out after the rainy season ends, so that the family can have convenience in commuting.

The MLA also assured every possible help for the treatment and housing of the affected family. He said that continuous efforts will be made to remove the family's problems and all possible cooperation will be provided as per need.

After living under plastic sheets following the collapse of their home, hope has now emerged for the family that a new shelter will be built. Villagers have also welcomed this initiative and expressed their assurance of support.
