District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey conducted surprise inspections of two prominent educational institutions and a cow shelter in Pratapgarh's Narayanpur area, reviewing academic facilities and infrastructure standards. The DM visited PM Shri School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalaya to assess the quality of education and amenities being provided to students.

During his inspection of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pandey interacted directly with students to understand the teaching-learning environment, available facilities, and problems they faced. He toured the school's sports ground and library, directing concerned officials to resolve the issues raised by students promptly. The District Magistrate emphasized maintaining cleanliness on campus and ensuring better arrangements so children face no difficulties during studies or sports activities.

Subsequently, Pandey inspected Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Narayanpur, formerly known as the Government Ashram Pattern School. He visited classrooms to speak with students about the educational and other facilities being provided to them. The DM also reviewed hostel arrangements and instructed officials to make necessary improvements in school management while ensuring quality facilities for students.

Following the school visits, the District Magistrate inspected the Brihad Sanrakshan Gaushala at Narayanpur Laxmanpur. Finding the conditions unsatisfactory, he expressed strong displeasure with the management. Pandey issued strict directions for immediate improvements, including proper sanitation arrangements, adequate care and maintenance of cattle, and resolution of waterlogging problems. He also ordered necessary action against officials responsible for negligence in their duties.
