Chief Development Officer reviews preparations for Ajgara Festival scheduled September 15-17

A review meeting was held in the late evening at the Camp Office auditorium to assess preparations for the Ajgara Festival, chaired by Chief Development Officer Dr. Rammohan Meena. The CDO directed that all necessary preparations should be completed within the stipulated time before the Ajgara Festival, scheduled to be held from September 15 to 17 at the mythological site of Ajgara in Pratapgarh.

During the meeting, the Chief Development Officer conducted a point-by-point review of the festival arrangements and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers regarding peace and law and order, road arrangements, electricity supply, drinking water, cleanliness, transportation, barricading, cultural programs, and departmental exhibitions. He said that whatever work and responsibilities have been assigned to the officers should be ensured to be complied with 100 percent. All concerned officers should conduct on-site inspections and if there are any shortcomings in the arrangements, they should be immediately removed and all preparations should be completed on time.

The CDO issued directions to maintain cleanliness, drinking water, electricity arrangements, and smooth transportation at the festival site and surrounding areas, along with keeping barricading and road arrangements organized. He also asked that preparations for cultural programs and departmental exhibitions be completed in a time-bound manner. He instructed the officers to work with mutual coordination and ensure that the general public and visitors do not face any kind of inconvenience during the festival and all arrangements are operated in a better manner.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Magistrate (Finance/Revenue) Aditya Prajapati, DFO Ashutosh Gupta, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Lalganj Vachaspati Singh, Pandit Rajesh Kumar Pandey 'Nirjhar Pratapgarhi', along with other concerned officers.
