Devotees gather for special havan ceremony on seventh day of Ganapati Mahotsav in Pratapgarh

A special havan and puja ceremony was organised on the seventh day of the ongoing Ganapati Mahotsav in Pratapgarh, with devotees participating in large numbers to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha.

The ritual was conducted under the guidance of Bhagwatacharya Pandit Vinay Shukla at the Ganapati Mahotsav being held on Ghuisar Nath Road in Lalganj. The havan was performed following all prescribed religious rites and customs, alongside elaborate worship and offerings to Ganapati Bappa. Devotees joined the ceremony enthusiastically and prayed to Lord Ganesha for happiness and prosperity.

The Ghuisarnath Road locality has been organising the Ganapati Mahotsav continuously since 2014. This year too, the programme is being held on Ghuisarnath Road in Lalganj. During the havan on the seventh day, the pandal was filled with a devotional atmosphere, and devotees were seen chanting praises of Ganapati Bappa, filling the air with a spirit of devotion.

The organisers said that the Ganapati Mahotsav is celebrated every year with faith and enthusiasm. Local residents also participate actively in the programme.

Present on the occasion were members of the organising committee, including Bhola Vishwakarma, Rajkumar Mishra, Ashok Tent House, Kedar, singer Jai Modanwal (Tinku), Anurag Pandey, general secretary Avneesh Shukla, Raj Modanwal (journalist), Ankit Jaiswal, Shivcharan Yadav, Karma Raj Yadav, Madan, Ashish Gym, Radhe Soni, and other devotees.
