Dadri police arrest man with smack worth one and half lakh rupees

Dadri police have arrested a man for allegedly selling illegal narcotics and recovered smack valued at approximately one and a half lakh rupees from his possession along with cash.

Police from Dadri police station arrested the accused, identified as Nazim Malik, on 15 September 2026. He was apprehended from the road behind Formi Company with 15.20 grams of smack and 3,005 rupees in cash in his possession, according to the press release issued by the Media Cell of Police Commissionerate Gautam Buddh Nagar.

The accused has been identified as Nazim Malik, son of Aziz Malik, a resident of village Ghodi Bachheda in Dadri police station area of Gautam Buddh Nagar district.

In connection with the arrest, case number 456/2026 has been registered at Dadri police station under sections 08/21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, the press release stated.

According to the criminal history details provided by police, this is the first registered case against the accused. The case filed at Dadri police station under the Commissionerate Gautam Buddh Nagar is listed as crime number 456/2026 under sections 08/21 of the NDPS Act.

The total recovery from the accused's possession included 15.20 grams of smack, estimated to be worth around one and a half lakh rupees, along with 3,005 rupees in cash, police said.
