CRPF Amethi organises blood donation camp on 19th Establishment Day

The Central Reserve Police Force Group Centre in Amethi organised a blood donation camp to mark its 19th Establishment Day with the objective of raising awareness about blood donation and contributing to ensuring the availability of blood for patients in need.

The blood donation camp was held at the Transit Club premises of the Group Centre Amethi on 14 September 2026. Twenty-three jawans and officers from the Group Centre Amethi participated enthusiastically and donated blood at the camp.

Deputy Inspector General Madan Kumar, Deputy Commandant Manish Kumar Meena along with other officers and jawans were present on the occasion.

Highlighting the importance of blood donation, Deputy Inspector General Madan Kumar said that blood donation gives the gift of life to many people and there is no donation greater than blood donation. He said that the Central Reserve Police Force has been playing an important role in discharging social and humanitarian responsibilities along with the security of the country.

Dr Sanjay Singh, Blood Bank In-charge, Medical College Sultanpur and his team as well as Dr Madhu Bala, Deputy Inspector General Medical were also present at the blood donation camp and made their significant contribution in organising the camp.

This initiative by the CRPF not only conveyed the message of awareness about blood donation but also brought to the fore the social responsibility of the jawans and officers to help people in need. The camp underscored the force's commitment to humanitarian service alongside its primary security duties.
