A blood donation camp was organised at the district hospital premises in Amethi as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.
State Minister Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh inaugurated the camp. A large number of people voluntarily donated blood at the event. Four blood donors were honoured with certificates of appreciation for their contribution.
The state minister also visited patients at the district hospital and distributed fruits among them. District Magistrate Sanjay Chauhan, Superintendent of Police Sarvanan T. and other officials were present at the occasion.
The camp was held to mark the prime minister's birth anniversary and saw enthusiastic participation from residents who came forward to donate blood as part of the service initiative.
