Civil court employees in Shravasti to petition MLA over long-pending service issues

The Civil Court Employees Union Uttar Pradesh branch in Shravasti will submit a memorandum to Member of Legislative Assembly Indrani Kairti on 13 September 2026 at 11.30 am as part of the second phase of a proposed agitation adopted by the union in its general body meeting held on 08 August 2026.

The second phase of the protest has been titled "Vidhayak Ke Dwar - Nyayalaya Karmi Kare Pukar" (At the Legislator's Door - Court Employees Make Their Appeal). The memorandum, which will be addressed to the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, will detail the long-pending problems faced by district court employees and will be presented before the Chief Minister through the MLA.

The memorandum will be submitted under the leadership of Kaushal Kishore Shukla, President of the Civil Court Employees Union Shravasti branch, in the distinguished presence of Narendra Vikram Singh, Provincial General Secretary, and Sudhir Kumar Srivastava, Provincial Joint Secretary. All union members will proceed in their vehicles from Gate Number 03 of the district court, passing through Khairi Mod, then Eidgah Tiraha, from there via Bhinga Kotwali Mod to reach the residence of the Honourable MLA and submit the memorandum.

Union Secretary Himanshu Shukla informed that the Honourable High Court had sent the revision of the service rules for district court employees to the government in the year 2021. This revision remains pending to date. The salary increase and regularisation of contractual employees under FTC have been pending with the government for a long time. Important matters such as the restoration of the abolished post of Senior Administrative Officer in district courts and granting gazetted status to clerical employees in the 4600 grade pay have been pending for a prolonged period. Court employees across the entire state are agitating to draw the government's attention and get these tasks accomplished.
