City Magistrate inaugurates Inner Wheel Club's charitable water kiosk

City Magistrate Rajesh Prasad inaugurated a charitable pyau, or drinking water facility, built by the Inner Wheel Club for the public and advocates at Maal Kachehari.

The facility has been set up to provide cold drinking water through a water cooler during the intense summer. Inner Wheel Club president Mrs Mamta Gupta said the charitable pyau had been built for people coming from villages to Maal Kachehari as well as for all advocates, so that cold water remains available to everyone. She said the Inner Wheel Club team had constructed the pyau with full dedication.

Twelve former presidents of the Bar Association were present at the event and gave their blessings to Inner Wheel Club president Mrs Mamta Gupta and all members of the club. They said that making arrangements for cold water is a very pious act.

Social worker Brijesh Gupta welcomed City Magistrate Rajesh Prasad and all senior advocates by presenting them with a chunari.

Those present on the occasion included former presidents of the Bar Association and senior advocates Ram Chhabile Shukla, Devendra Prasad Pandey, Krishna Mohan Srivastava, Madan Gopal Tripathi, Ram Bajpai, Krishna Kumar Ojha, Mohan Gaur, Prem Nath Tiwari, Shri Satish Singh and Ram Suhawan Shukla.

Social workers Sandeep Mittal, Satyendra Shukla, Surendra Nath Tripathi, Abhishek Dwivedi, Ramesh and Ekta Jaiswal were also present. Current president Rajesh Shukla and Sudhakar Mishra, along with other advocates, also attended the programme.

From the Inner Wheel Club, president Mamta Gupta was present along with Dr Beena Tandon, Dr Reena Kedia, Sangeeta Agarwal, Jyoti Bansal, Sandhya Goyal, Lata Verma, Manjula Pandey, Nidhi Tandon, Sangeeta Khanna, Malti Devi, Neelam Goyal, Mamta Kedia, Swati Kansal, Vibha Agarwal and other members.
