Central Sanskrit University Launches B.Tech in AI and Data Science

Central Sanskrit University has announced the launch of a new B.Tech programme in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at its Nashik campus for the 2026–27 academic session. The course, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is now open for admissions.

The four-year programme is designed for candidates who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Additionally, applicants are required to have a basic understanding of Sanskrit, as the course integrates studies in artificial intelligence with language and traditional knowledge.

The programme has a total of 66 seats available. Admissions will follow a multi-stage process, beginning with online registration. Candidates who have not qualified through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) will need to appear for an entrance test conducted by the university.

Following the examination, the university will release results, conduct counselling sessions, and finalize admissions upon payment of fees. The last date to apply for the course is June 30, 2026.
