BKDA demolishes two illegal colonies spanning 13 bigha in Khurja crackdown

The Bulandshahr-Khurja Development Authority (BKDA) has demolished two illegal plotting schemes spread across 13 bigha of land in Khurja and sealed two unauthorised commercial constructions as part of a sweeping crackdown on unapproved colonisation and construction activity.

The authority's enforcement team carried out the action on Tuesday evening at around 4 PM in the Khurja area. The team deployed bulldozers to raze the illegal plotting operations and sealed the commercial structures that had been built without approved maps. The operation has sent shockwaves through the ranks of land mafias and illegal colonisers operating in the region.

According to information received from the authority, Rinku Sharma was developing an illegal colony on approximately 8 bigha of land in village Bagrai located on Shikarpur Road without obtaining the required approvals. The team demolished the entire construction. Additionally, illegal plotting being carried out by Rais and Shafiq on 5 bigha of land was also bulldozed and the construction work was demolished.

Along with dismantling the plotting schemes, the development authority team sealed two separate unauthorised commercial constructions that were being built in the area without having their maps approved.

Authority officials have stated that this campaign against illegal plotting and unauthorised construction will continue in the future. Colonisers who develop colonies without getting layout plans approved will not be spared. The administration has also appealed to the general public to verify the approval status of any colony with the authority before purchasing plots in any colony. This verification will help buyers avoid falling into the trap of illegal land schemes that could result in loss of investment and legal complications later.
