BJP Mahila Morcha Protests Against Rahul Gandhi, Burns His Effigy in Pratapgarh

The BJP Mahila Morcha staged a protest against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in Pratapgarh on Monday and burned his effigy. The demonstration was led by Ruchi Kesharwani, the district president of the BJP Mahila Morcha.

The protesters accused Rahul Gandhi of allegedly behaving improperly with a woman police personnel during a protest in Delhi. They demanded that he apologise and called for action against him over the alleged incident.

BJP Mahila Morcha workers began a procession from Company Garden. The procession passed through various routes in the city before reaching Ambedkar Chowk. After arriving at the crossroads, the workers burned Rahul Gandhi’s effigy and raised slogans against him.

During the protest, BJP workers carried party flags and placards in their hands. They also raised slogans and expressed their opposition to both the Congress and Rahul Gandhi at Ambedkar Chowk.

Sadar MLA Rajendra Maurya and BJP district president Ashish Srivastava were also present during the demonstration.

BJP leaders alleged that Rahul Gandhi had behaved improperly with a woman police personnel during the protest in Delhi. Describing the alleged incident as condemnable, they said that responsible behaviour should be maintained in matters connected with the respect and dignity of women.

The protesters reiterated their demand for an apology from Rahul Gandhi and sought action against him over the allegation.
