BJP distributes fruits and sweets to elderly residents on Modi's birthday

BJP workers distributed fruits and rasmalai to elderly residents of an old age home in Pratapgarh on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday as part of a fortnight-long service initiative launched by the party.

The fruit distribution programme was organised on Wednesday at the old age home located in Chilbila. Sadar MLA Rajendra Maurya and BJP district president Ashish Srivastava distributed fruits to the elderly residents and enquired about their well-being during the event. The leaders interacted with the senior citizens, listened to their problems and reviewed the facilities and arrangements at the home.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Rajendra Maurya said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's life is a symbol of service and dedication. He stated that the BJP is celebrating his birthday as a service fortnight. Maurya added that reaching service to the person standing on the last rung of society is true national service.

District president Ashish Srivastava said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the country is continuously progressing. He noted that on his birthday, party workers are sending a positive message to society through service activities.

BJP office-bearers, workers and staff of the old age home were present during the programme. The elderly residents wished for the Prime Minister's long life.

The event marked the beginning of the service fortnight under which the BJP has organised various programmes.
