BJP chief Nitin Naveen visits Ujjain for first time since taking top post

BJP National President Nitin Naveen will visit Ujjain on 17 and 18 September, marking his first trip to the city after assuming the party's top post.

Nitin Naveen will arrive in Ujjain on 17 September and is expected to stay for two days. On the evening of 17 September, he will participate in a grand programme to light 25 lakh diyas on the banks of the Shipra river under the banner of Seva Sankalp.

There is also the possibility of Nitin Naveen meeting RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat during his visit. However, it has not yet been decided whether he will participate in the 'Yuva Dharm Sansad' event.

The Sangh and BJP organisation, along with police and administration, have intensified preparations ahead of the visit. A three-day programme organised by Sevaagya Sansthanam will be held at Geeta Bhavan from 17 to 19 September. The programme will feature several prominent guests including Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj, Acharya Pundarik Goswami, renowned lyricist Manoj Muntashir, IIM Indore Director Himanshu Rai, and Vishnu Prakash Tripathi among others.

There is talk that after these programmes, the RSS chief may also visit the Sangh office 'Aradhana Bhavan' located in Sardarpura.

The BJP organisation has begun preparations to welcome Nitin Naveen, who is visiting Ujjain for the first time since becoming the national president of the party. The 25 lakh diya lighting ceremony at the Shipra riverbank under Seva Sankalp will be the centrepiece of his visit on 17 September.
