Bahraich MP launches foldable study tables for meritorious students across district

Bahraich MP Dr Anand Kumar Gond on Tuesday launched a unique initiative to distribute foldable study tables to meritorious students from council-run primary and upper primary schools across the district. The program, conceived by Devipatan Divisional Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal, aims to improve the quality of education and provide children with a better learning environment at home.

The symbolic inauguration ceremony was held at the Vikas Bhavan auditorium, where MP Gond, along with Chief Development Officer Sunil Kumar Dhanwanta, BJP district general secretary Ranvijay Singh, MLA Sadar Anupama Jaiswal's representative Ashok Jaiswal, District Development Officer Raj Kumar, and Project Director Manish Kumar, distributed study tables to 56 meritorious students from Tajkhodai, Bahadurpur, and Susrauli schools.

Under the program, students who secured the top three positions in each class from standards 1 to 8 in selected schools across 90 gram panchayats of the district are being given foldable study tables. Each school will see approximately 24 students benefiting from this initiative, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to around 2,160 meritorious students across the district.

The study tables feature cartoon prints designed to attract children and enhance their interest in studies. The initiative, launched on the directions of the Divisional Commissioner and Bahraich district administration, seeks to provide rural children with a conducive study environment at home and motivate them to consistently excel in their academic pursuits.

During the event, the MP and CDO interacted with the students and extended their best wishes for a bright future. The program underscores the administration's commitment to bridging educational gaps in rural areas through innovative interventions that directly support student learning outcomes.
