Auto Overturns on Agra-Aligarh Highway, Couple Injured; Woman Referred to Aligarh

An auto-rickshaw overturned on the Agra-Aligarh National Highway-93 in the Sasni area on Thursday morning, leaving a husband and wife seriously injured. The woman was later referred to Aligarh after doctors found her condition to be serious.

According to the information available, Aligarh resident Razak, son of Faryad, was returning home from Agra to Aligarh with his wife, Rizwana. They were travelling in an auto at around seven in the morning.

The accident took place when the auto reached the Agra-Aligarh National Highway-93 in the Sasni area. It was reported that the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle, following which the auto overturned on the road.

Razak and Rizwana both sustained serious injuries in the accident. The crash led to confusion at the spot as people in the surrounding area gathered there.

People nearby immediately helped the injured couple and took them to the Sasni Community Health Centre (CHC) in a private vehicle. Doctors at the health centre provided primary treatment to both of them.

However, after examining Rizwana, the doctors found her condition to be serious. She was referred to Aligarh for better treatment. Rizwana is undergoing treatment there. The report did not provide further details about Razak’s condition after his primary treatment at the Sasni CHC.
