Amethi Police Arrest 3 Inter-District Bike Thieves, Recover 3 Motorcycles
In Amethi, Peeparpur police have taken major action under Operation Chakravyuh, arresting 3 inter-district vehicle thieves and recovering 3 stolen motorcycles from them.
The three accused are said to be residents of Sultanpur. According to police, after stealing the bikes, the accused used to hide them by either changing the number plates or removing them.
During questioning, it came to light that the motorcycles had been stolen from the Musafirkhana, Pratapgarh and Bandhuakala areas, police said.
The arrested accused have been identified as Sandeep Yadav alias Sultani, Ramjatan Yadav alias Bablu and Ankit Yadav.
According to police, accused Sandeep Yadav has also been found to have a criminal history in several cases in the past.
Peeparpur police have registered a case against the accused under the relevant sections and started legal action.
