Amethi MP writes to CM over six-hour nightly power cuts affecting farmers, students

Member of Parliament Kishore Lal Sharma has written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over unannounced and irregular power cuts in Amethi.

Through his letter, the MP has raised the issue of disrupted electricity supply in Amethi that has been continuing for the past several days.

He has stated that power cuts of around six hours during the night are causing severe inconvenience to farmers, students and the general public.

Keeping in view the rainy season, with incidents of waterlogging and poisonous creatures entering homes, the MP has described the nighttime power cuts as a serious matter linked to public safety.

Sharma has demanded that the Chief Minister take immediate cognizance of the situation, get the power supply system fixed and issue necessary instructions to the concerned officials.

The MP has emphasized that the unscheduled power cuts are affecting daily life and creating hazardous conditions, particularly during nighttime hours when visibility is already poor and the monsoon-related risks are heightened in the constituency.
