15-year-old girl found dead by hanging in Uttar Pradesh home

A 15-year-old girl was found dead by hanging at her residence in Shravasti district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, sending shockwaves through the locality. The tragic incident occurred at a house near Chilhariya Mod in the Sirsiya police station area, leaving the family in deep distress and mourning.

According to information received, the teenager was at home while her father had gone out to drive his rickshaw for work. During this time, the girl went up to the terrace alone. A short while later, her younger sister noticed something amiss and informed their mother that her elder sister was hanging from the terrace. Family members immediately rushed upstairs and discovered the girl hanging, prompting them to alert the Sirsiya police station about the incident.

Police personnel arrived at the scene promptly after receiving the information and took possession of the body. The deceased was subsequently sent to the mortuary at Bhinga for post-mortem examination. Additional Superintendent of Police of Shravasti also reached the spot following the incident and inspected the location while gathering details about the case.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the teenager's death. According to police officials, the actual cause and nature of the incident will only become clear after the post-mortem report is received and a thorough investigation is completed.
