Youth Awareness Rally To Be Held On Bhagat Singh Jayanti

A youth awareness rally will be taken out on September 28 in Darapur village of Asmoli development block to mark the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, according to a decision taken at a youth meeting held on Tuesday.

The meeting was organised in Gram Darapur under the Asmoli block of Sambhal. The report was filed by Rajat Malhotra from Sambhal/Asmoli.

At the meeting, the youths decided that the rally would be held on the occasion of Bhagat Singh Jayanti. The organisers said the aim of the rally is to increase awareness among young people about service to the nation, discipline, health and sportsmanship.

Rally organisers Faiz Chaudhary and Harshit Tyagi said the rally would be taken out in a peaceful and disciplined manner. According to the proposed route, the rally will begin from Manota Bridge and pass through Asmoli, Tanda Kothi and Obri before returning to Manota Bridge, where it will conclude.

The organisers said a limited number of youths would take part in the rally. They also said special care would be taken to ensure that traffic and the movement of the general public are not obstructed in any way during the event.

They added that all instructions issued by the administration, along with road safety norms, would be followed during the rally.

Through the rally, an effort will be made to encourage young people who are preparing for recruitment in the Army, police, paramilitary forces and other security forces.

The meeting also discussed placing a demand before the administration for suitable sports grounds for youths and grounds for recruitment preparation.

Riyaz Saifi, Salman Khan, Shane Alam, Mohammad Alam, Shoaib, Shamshad, Shami Saifi and other youths were present at the meeting. The organisers also appealed to young people to maintain discipline during the rally.
