Youth Arrested In Pratapgarh, Tinted Car With Fake Advocate Board Seized

Police in Pratapgarh seized a car fitted with black film and a fake advocate board during a vehicle checking drive in the Delhupur police station area, and took a youth into custody.

According to police, several vehicles were challaned during the checking campaign being carried out in the Delhupur police station area. During the same drive, police stopped a car that had black film on its windows. When the vehicle was checked, police found that a fake advocate board had been put on it.

Police said the youth caught during the checking has been identified as Algu. He had come out of jail only a few days ago. During the inspection of the vehicle, police found both an advocate board and black film on the car. After finding violation of rules, police took action and seized the vehicle.

Police said more than half a dozen cases are registered against the detained youth in Pratapgarh and Prayagraj. Police are also checking his criminal history.

After the checking action in the Delhupur police station area, there was panic among those moving around with fake advocate boards on their vehicles.
