Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will conduct a comprehensive review meeting via video conferencing with divisional and district-level officials on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 6 pm from the conference hall of Lok Bhawan in Lucknow. The meeting will focus on multiple critical issues including waterlogging, floods, upcoming festivals, power supply, urban development, public works, irrigation, animal husbandry, and law and order situations across the state.

According to a letter issued by the Chief Minister's office, the video conference will see participation from all divisional commissioners, district magistrates, senior police officers, chief development officers, municipal commissioners, executive officers of municipal bodies, district school inspectors, basic education officers, and divisional and district-level officials from various departments including energy, health, urban development, public works, transport, food safety and drug administration, food and civil supplies, water corporations, and animal husbandry.

A key agenda item will be reviewing the waterlogging and flood situation in various districts of the state. The Chief Minister is expected to assess relief and rescue preparedness in affected areas, drainage arrangements, and local-level measures being undertaken. With festivals approaching, discussions will also cover administrative preparations and arrangements made to handle any potential situations.

The meeting will additionally review the state's power supply situation, progress of ongoing works under urban development, public works, and irrigation departments, and public grievances related to these sectors. Matters concerning the animal husbandry department and the state's law and order situation are also prominently featured on the agenda. Police officers will brief the Chief Minister on security arrangements planned for the upcoming festivals and preparedness in sensitive areas.

The Chief Minister's office has instructed all concerned officials to inform their respective teams about the meeting and participate with full preparation. Officials have been directed to take their positions 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure the video conference begins punctually.
