The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is set to announce the results of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2026 today. According to an official notification issued on Tuesday, the results will be declared during a press conference scheduled for 1:30 pm.

The WBJEE 2026 examination, held on May 24, was conducted for admissions to undergraduate programs in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Pharmacy across universities and colleges in West Bengal.

Candidates will be able to access their rank cards starting from 4:00 pm through the official websites, http://www.wbjeeb.nic.in and http://www.wbjeeb.in. To check their results, aspirants should follow these steps:
1. Visit the official website wbjeeb.nic.in.
2. Click on the “WBJEE Results 2026” link on the homepage.
3. Enter login credentials to view the result.
4. Download and save the rank card for future reference.

The rank card will include subject-wise scores, total scores, qualifying status, and merit rank. Candidates who qualify will be eligible to participate in the counselling process, the details of which will be announced by the board at a later date.

The WBJEE 2026 question paper was structured into three categories. Category 1 awarded one mark for each correct answer, with a penalty of one-fourth of a mark for incorrect responses. Category 2 questions carried two marks each, with a deduction of half a mark for wrong answers. Category 3 questions also carried two marks each but had no negative marking. However, marking an incorrect option in Category 3 resulted in zero marks for the entire answer.

For partially correct answers in Category 3, candidates were awarded proportional marks if all correct options were not marked but no incorrect option was selected. Unattempted questions across all categories were assigned zero marks.

For additional details, candidates can visit the official website, call the helpline at 1800-123-4782, or email the board at [email protected].
