WBJEE 2026 Results Announced: Rank Cards to be Available from 4 PM Today
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially announced the results of WBJEE 2026 during a press conference held today, June 18, 2026. A total of 92,753 candidates have successfully qualified the state-level entrance examination this year. Shaswat Banerjee has secured the top position in the General Merit Rank (GMR) list, followed by Souriddha Mondal in second place and Umang Gupt in third.
This year, the examination witnessed participation from 71% male candidates, 29% female candidates, and two transgender candidates. The merit list has been prepared based on candidates' performance in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
The board has confirmed that the official rank cards will be available for download starting at 4 PM today on the WBJEEB website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates can access their rank cards by logging into the portal using their application number and password.
Steps to Download WBJEE 2026 Rank Card:
1. Visit the official WBJEE website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
2. Click on the result or rank card download link.
3. Enter your application form number and date of birth.
4. Submit the details to log in.
5. View your scores and ranks displayed on the screen.
6. Download and print the rank card for future reference.
Candidates are advised to carefully verify all details mentioned on the rank card after downloading it. The rank card will include essential information such as the candidate's roll number, application number, date of birth, total marks obtained, composite marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, General Merit Rank (GMR) or Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR), qualifying status, and photograph.
It is recommended that candidates preserve multiple copies of their rank card, as it will be required during counselling and document verification processes.
