Wanted dacoit Kalli Gurjar releases fourth video, challenges rival from temple

Wanted dacoit Kalli Gurjar, carrying a bounty of 60 thousand rupees, remains out of police custody even as teams from Morena, Gwalior and Rajasthan continue searching the forests and ravines for him. At the same time, Kalli Gurjar has been releasing videos and openly challenging his rivals.

In the latest video, Kalli Gurjar is seen standing in front of the Maheshwara Temple. He is heard challenging his rival, Karua Gurjar, a resident of Jaderua. In the video, he says, “I have come to the temple. If you have the courage, come and meet me.”

This is reportedly the fourth video of Kalli Gurjar to surface within four days. The video has raised questions about the police search and surveillance operation. While around 200 personnel are conducting a joint operation to find him, his appearance at the temple and his open challenge to his rivals have become a subject of discussion in the area.

Karua Gurjar had issued a video two days earlier, challenging Kalli Gurjar to reach the Maheshwara Temple. It is being reported that Kalli Gurjar subsequently reached the temple and recorded a video while standing there.

In the video, he challenges Karua Gurjar and says, “I have come to the Maheshwara Temple. Where are you now? If you have the courage, come and meet me.” The statement is being seen as a direct response to the challenge issued by his rival.

Before this, Karua Gurjar had allegedly used abusive language against Kalli Gurjar and his family in a video. Kalli then released a video in response and challenged his rival. The exchange of challenges through videos between the two sides has also created apprehension of tension in the area.

A joint search operation is being conducted by police from three districts to arrest Kalli Gurjar. Police teams are searching the forests and ravines for him. The police had suspected that he may have moved towards Rajasthan. However, the new video emerging from the Maheshwara Temple has once again raised questions about his location.

It is being reported that Kalli Gurjar has been moving from Rajasthan, crossing the Chambal, passing through Morena and also entering the limits of Gwalior district. However, there has been no official confirmation of his current whereabouts.

The continued release of videos has increased the challenge before the police. On one side, police teams are searching the forests with around 200 personnel. On the other, Kalli Gurjar is appearing in videos and issuing direct challenges to his opponents.

The video recorded in front of the Maheshwara Temple has also led police to examine when and where it was made. The police are working to verify the timing of the video and trace the location shown in it. The repeated appearance of Kalli Gurjar in videos has raised questions about how he is managing to remain beyond the reach of the search teams.

Morena Superintendent of Police Dharamraj Meena said that the police are investigating when and where the video of Kalli Gurjar was recorded. His location is also being traced, he said.

According to SP Dharamraj Meena, police teams are making efforts to arrest Kalli Gurjar. He said that Kalli Gurjar would be arrested soon.

The immediate challenge before the police is to establish the actual location and time of the video and use that information to reach Kalli Gurjar. His videos have surfaced despite the joint search operation being carried out across three districts.

The police investigation and location-tracing exercise will clarify when the video was made and where Kalli Gurjar was present at that time. Until then, his exact location has not been officially confirmed.
