Two brothers from prominent Firozabad bangle family die in car crash in Sitapur

Two young brothers from a prominent Firozabad family died in a tragic car accident in Sitapur on Wednesday while traveling with their mother to visit Naimisharanya. The victims, Yash Gupta, 25, and Aakash Gupta, 30, were grandsons of Mahavir Prasad Gupta, a well-known bangle trader from Firozabad's Adarsh Nagar locality. Both men were married and actively involved in the family's bangle business in Varanasi.

The accident occurred early Wednesday morning on the Kalli-Naimish road in Sitapur when their car collided with a tree. The vehicle was carrying four people at the time of the crash. Both brothers died at the scene, leaving the family devastated. Their mother, Nandini Gupta, 50, suffered serious injuries and remains in critical condition. After regaining partial consciousness, relatives transported her to Varanasi for medical treatment. The car driver was also severely injured in the crash.

The tragedy has struck particularly hard as Yash and Aakash were the only two sons of the late Rajeev Gupta, also known as Khoni, who was Mahavir Prasad Gupta's second son. The family members are in deep shock over losing both young men in a single incident. The brothers had been managing their family's bangle business in Varanasi, where they had established their residence.

Mahavir Prasad Gupta, who regularly travels between Firozabad and other cities for business, was staying at his daughter Seeta's house in Naya Rasulpur, Firozabad when the tragic news reached him. Seeta is the widow of the late Dr. Ramakant Gupta. Upon receiving word of the accident, Mahavir Prasad immediately left for Varanasi with close relatives. The sudden loss has left the extended family grief-stricken.
