Tractor-trolley overturns in Sambhal, three women killed, eleven injured
A tractor-trolley accident in Sambhal district has claimed the lives of three women and left eleven other people injured.
The accident occurred near Rahatol village in the Hazratnagar Garhi police station area of Sambhal. A total of eighteen villagers were travelling in the tractor-trolley at the time of the incident.
All the villagers were on their way to attend a funeral ceremony in Moradabad when the tragedy struck. The trolley overturned after becoming uncontrollable when the axle of its rear wheel broke.
Police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the district hospital as well as private hospitals for treatment. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate and the Circle Officer visited the hospital to check on the condition of the injured and gave instructions for their treatment.
