Temple in Delhi gears up for grand Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations

The Janmashtami festival will be celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm from 7 pm on September 4, 2026.
The temple premises are being given a grand look with balloons, flowers and attractive decorations. A grand tableau of Lord Sri Krishna and a specially decorated cradle of Krishna ji will be the center of special attraction for devotees. Residents will themselves celebrate the birth festival by swinging Bal Gopal in the cradle.
Providing information, temple priest Pandit Rajiv Mishra said that in the programme, devotional singers Sudhir Rajput and Shivam Sharma from Delhi will present bhajans. Chhappan Bhog will be offered to the Lord and Charanamrit, Makkhan-Mishri and fruit prasad will be distributed to devotees.
Former president of the RWA Rashmi Chaudhary has appealed to all residents to reach the temple premises on time with their families, participate in this grand religious event and receive the blessings of Lord Sri Krishna.
