Students and teachers march for literacy across Ghaziabad's Vandana Enclave

A massive awareness rally was organised under the International Literacy Fortnight campaign at Upper Primary School, Vandana Enclave, Ward Number 14, Nehru Garden in Ghaziabad Khoda on Thursday.

The main objective of the programme was to spread awareness about education in rural areas and connect every citizen with the importance of literacy.

The rally began from the school premises, in which students and teachers participated. Carrying placards with educational messages, children and teachers toured Vandana Enclave, Nehru Garden and surrounding areas, delivering the message of education to the people. During this, area residents and students were motivated to study continuously and make society completely literate.

Ward Number 14 Councillor C.P. Sharma was specially present at the programme. School teachers Seema, Rajni, Sushma and Suman played a key role in making this literacy campaign rally successful.

At the conclusion of the rally, teachers appealed to parents to send their children to school regularly and contribute to the spread of education.
