A member of the State Women's Commission will undertake an extensive day-long visit to Pratapgarh on August 25, 2026, to inspect facilities related to women and child welfare, conduct public hearings, and review official performance on pending complaints. Pratibha Kushwaha, the Commission member, will also interact with self-help groups and participate in a Rakshabandhan celebration during her packed schedule.

The day will begin at 8 am with an inspection of an anganwadi center, where traditional ceremonies including garbhvati women's god bharai and newborns' annaprashan will be performed. At 9 am, Kushwaha will inspect the One Stop Centre, a crucial facility for women in distress. By 11 am, she is scheduled to reach the Medical College in Pratapgarh to conduct an inspection and interact with trainee students.

A public hearing and dialogue programme will be held at 1 pm at the Vikas Bhavan, where Kushwaha will listen to grievances from the general public and women. After reaching the Inspection Building in Pratapgarh at 6 pm, Kushwaha will depart for the camp office located at Bharwari in Kaushambi, depending on convenience.
