Speeding Tractor Kills Motorcyclist on Hathras Overbridge

Life came to a halt on an overbridge in Hathras after a speeding tractor ran over a young man riding a motorcycle, killing him on the spot. The accident took place late Tuesday night on the Agra-Aligarh route, near the overbridge in front of Rambagh Inter College.

According to the information available, the tractor hit the motorcycle on the overbridge. The collision was so severe that the rider died at the scene. As soon as the police received information about the accident, they reached the spot and took the body into custody. The body was later sent for post-mortem examination.

The deceased was identified as Sunil, 28, son of Ramroop. He was a resident of Parsoura village in the Sahpau Kotwali area. It was reported that Sunil had come to his in-laws’ home in the Khandari Garhi locality of Hathras.

On Tuesday night, Sunil left his in-laws’ home after saying that he would return after some time. However, he met with the accident on the way, and the crash claimed his life.

Sunil had got married around seven years ago. He is survived by three children. He worked as a contractor in building construction. After news of the accident reached the family, cries and screams were heard in the house. His relatives were inconsolable.

After receiving information from local people, the family reached the district hospital. There, doctors declared Sunil dead. Following this, the police sent his body for post-mortem examination.

Sunil’s father-in-law said that another young man was also with him at the time of the accident. Since the crash, there has been no information about that युवक. The police are also trying to find out about him and are investigating the circumstances of the accident.

The accident suddenly took away the happiness of a family. Three small children lost their father. The police are now gathering information about the tractor and its driver.
