SP Shradha Narendra Pandey inspects night patrols across Kanpur Dehat district

Superintendent of Police Shradha Narendra Pandey personally took to the streets of Kanpur Dehat district to inspect night policing operations and security arrangements, part of efforts to strengthen control over crime and criminals. On the intervening night of 15-16 September, the SP conducted surprise inspections of intensive checking drives and police patrols while touring various areas of the district.

During the inspection, the Superintendent of Police carried out a detailed examination of Sandalpur outpost. She also toured the Mangalpur police station area and the Rura police station area to assess the night security and patrolling arrangements in those jurisdictions.

The SP tested the alertness and vigilance of on-duty police personnel deployed during the night shift. Checking was conducted of personnel stationed at pickets and on patrol duty at key routes and sensitive locations across the district. Police presence was visible on the roads, and checking of suspicious vehicles was carried out as part of the security measures.

The Superintendent of Police issued strict instructions to the field staff. She directed that intensive checking should be conducted, with thorough searches of suspicious persons and vehicles on main routes. Effective surveillance was ordered, with police patrols to be increased in sensitive areas and continuous sharp vigilance to be maintained. Swift action was mandated, requiring police teams to reach the spot immediately upon receiving information about any emergency situation or incident.

The SP made it clear that no negligence of any kind will be tolerated during night duty. All officers and personnel have been instructed to discharge their duties with complete alertness and vigilance. The inspection was aimed at ensuring that the district's nighttime policing remains robust and that crime control measures are effectively implemented on the ground.
