Social workers stage silent protest in Auraiya over railway administration inaction

Gandhian social worker Dheeraj Shukla and his associate Shyam Singh, who are adamant on their stand for public welfare, have staged a silent protest in Auraiya to draw the attention of responsible authorities.

The two activists expressed their gratitude to both the district administration and the railway administration for their cooperation. However, despite continuous contact with the railway administration and submission of multiple memorandums, no decision was forthcoming, which compelled the social workers to sit on a silent dharna.

The step of organizing a silent protest was taken to attract the focus of the officials concerned. Through the peaceful dharna, the work of conveying the issue of public interest has been initiated.

The journey had begun on October 2, which marks Gandhi Jayanti, when the first memorandum was submitted. The social activists have now resorted to this form of protest to ensure that their voice reaches the authorities and action is taken on the matter they have been persistently raising with the railway administration.
