Son brutally beats disabled 52-year-old father in Shravasti, UP

In a horrific incident in Gilaula police station area of Kalyanpur tehsil, Shravasti district, a young man brutally assaulted his 52-year-old disabled father. The incident came to light when local residents reported the matter to police.

What happened in Siswara village?

According to police, the accused tied up his disabled father and attacked him with sticks and bricks at their home in Siswara village. The victim suffered serious injuries to his hands, legs, and head. Neighbours who heard the screams rushed to intervene and alerted the police.

Police action

Upon receiving the complaint, Gilaula police reached the spot and rescued the injured father. He was immediately taken to the district hospital for treatment. The accused son has been taken into custody and an FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Station House Officer of Gilaula confirmed that the accused has a history of violent behaviour towards his father and had previously demanded money from him. The motive appears to be a property dispute between father and son.
