Shahdol authorities seize two vehicles for illegal mineral transportation

Two vehicles have been seized in Shahdol district for illegally transporting minerals, officials said.

District Mineral Officer Rahul Shandilya informed that the minerals department team inspected the Budhar tehsil area and examined vehicles transporting minerals. During the checks, two vehicles were found illegally transporting gravel and coal. The vehicles were seized and placed in the custody of Budhar police station, and action was taken as per rules.

Action against illegal storage, excavation and transportation of minerals in Shahdol district is being ensured on a continuous basis, officials said. Assistant Mineral Officer Abhishek Patle and other field staff were part of the operation.
