The ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ will be organised across the country to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years as a public servant. In Gonda, the yatra will pass through villages, wards, mandals and Assembly constituencies of the district.
This was stated by Rahul Raj Rastogi, general secretary of the Awadh province and in-charge of Gonda, during a press conference in Gonda on 6 October. He said the programme aims to take the Prime Minister’s 25 years of public life and public service work to the people. It will also seek to connect different sections of society with the resolve of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.
As part of the programme, ‘Seva Jyoti Yatras’ will be taken out from different locations in the district. These journeys will represent villages, wards, mandals and Assembly constituencies. A bike rally will also be organised, wherever necessary, for participants coming from areas located at longer distances.
A vehicle carrying the ‘Seva Jyoti’ will lead the journey. All the yatras will reach a designated venue and assemble there. A district-level ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ will then be held at the venue.
Bharatiya Janata Party district president Akbal Bahadur Tiwari said the guests would be welcomed during the programme. The guests would also install the ‘Seva Jyoti’ on the stage.
BJP media in-charge Vivek Mali Srivastava said the BJP national president would deliver a live address through video conferencing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi would also address the gathering through video conferencing.
After the addresses, the people present at the programme would collectively take the pledge of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’. They would also sing ‘Vande Mataram’ together.
Following the conclusion of the programme, the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ would take the form of a rally and move through the entire city.
