Employment started with a focus on self-reliance not only provides economic stability but also increases social respect and self-confidence, said Shambhavi, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, while addressing trainees at the Baroda Self-Employment Development Institute in Gode, Pratapgarh. She emphasized that if proper training is received before starting any employment venture, the chances of success increase significantly.

Shambhavi was speaking at an awareness programme where she addressed trainees undergoing beauty parlor and goat rearing courses. She explained that through training, individuals can perform their work with greater skill and ease. The Secretary highlighted that the government and judiciary's intention is to ensure that no person remains deprived of their legal rights due to illiteracy, poverty, or hesitation.

She provided detailed information about the free legal aid services made available by the District Legal Services Authority to the general public. Shambhavi clarified that anyone facing legal problems need not get confused by seeking incomplete information from unreliable sources. Instead, they can directly contact the District Legal Services Authority office or seek assistance from panel legal volunteers. She stressed that providing appropriate legal guidance and support to those in need is the primary objective of the Legal Services Authority.

Local Development Manager Neeraj Singh urged the trainees to share the important legal information they received with their families and acquaintances, enabling wider dissemination of these welfare services. District coordinators from Mission Shakti, Jaya Yadav and Vandana Shukla, also spoke about women's rights and available support mechanisms. Shishir Khare, who conducted the programme, mentioned that the authority not only provides judicial and legal support but also attempts quick resolution through mediation and alternative dispute resolution methods. Director Ravi Ranjan proposed the vote of thanks. The Secretary also planted an amla sapling on the premises during the event.
