Saurabh Balmiki aims to plant 20,000 trees in Lodha

Saurabh Balmiki, a resident of Chhota Jawan village in Lodha, has taken on the ambitious task of planting 20,000 trees across the district. Leading a group of 20 to 30 young volunteers, Saurabh and his team have already planted around 4,000 to 5,000 saplings, with plans to achieve their full target in the coming months.

On Sunday, the team visited the village of Baad Bamni in Lodha block, where they planted saplings in key community spaces, including a cowshed, a primary school, a temple, and the cremation ground. The initiative was supported and appreciated by the village head, Dr. Omveer Singh, who expressed gratitude to the team for their efforts. Local residents also extended their thanks, acknowledging the positive impact of the project on the environment and the community.

Saurabh shared that the tree-planting drive is part of his vision to create a greener and healthier environment for future generations. "We are committed to reaching our target of 20,000 trees. This is just the beginning," he said. His team has been actively working in different areas, ensuring that the saplings are planted in locations where they can thrive and benefit the community.
