Sara Ali Khan and Henry Cavill Shine at Royal Ascot Event

Bollywood star Sara Ali Khan and Hollywood actor Henry Cavill created a buzz online after posing together at the prestigious Royal Ascot horse racing festival in England. The unexpected pairing delighted fans, who dubbed the duo “Pataudi princess x Superman.”

Both actors are global ambassadors for Swiss luxury watchmaker Longines and attended the event as part of their association with the brand. They posed for a series of photographs, which were shared on social media by both Sara and Longines, sparking widespread excitement.

Sara took to Instagram to share glimpses of the event, captioning her post, “A royal affair with @longines.” Her photo carousel began with a solo shot of herself, followed by images featuring Henry Cavill. Longines also posted pictures of the duo, describing the moment as “an expression of timeless elegance at Royal Ascot.”

For the occasion, Sara embraced classic British race-day fashion, wearing an ivory-toned tailored ensemble with a textured midi silhouette. She paired it with a matching cape-style jacket, a white fascinator with net detailing, a clutch purse, a wristwatch, and pointed-toe stilettos. Henry, on the other hand, opted for a traditional morning suit, complete with a black tailcoat, a light-coloured waistcoat, a crisp white shirt, a coordinating tie, grey striped trousers, polished shoes, and a black top hat.

The photographs quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comments section. Many praised Sara’s look, calling her the “Pataudi Princess,” while others expressed excitement at spotting Henry Cavill in the pictures. Some fans initially mistook him for a lookalike before realizing it was indeed the former Superman star. Comments ranged from “Looking Royal Indeed” to playful observations like, “I hope he has his Superman on underneath.”

While Sara represents Longines’ PrimaLuna line, known for its elegance, Henry is associated with the Zulu Time collection.

On the professional front, Sara was last seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do and will next star in the spy comedy Udta Teer alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. The film, produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, marks the directorial debut of Akash A Kaushik. She is also rumored to be working on a project with her father, Saif Ali Khan, though no official announcement has been made.

Henry Cavill, meanwhile, last appeared as Superman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021) and made a cameo in Black Adam (2022). The role has since been recast for James Gunn’s upcoming Superman: Legacy. Cavill’s recent projects include In The Grey, and he has Enola Holmes 3, Voltron, and Highlander lined up for release.
