The announcement was made in Chandausi. In a report by Rajat Malhotra, the union’s state president Shmaniklal Nagar and state chief general secretary Rajendra Sahdev said the decision was taken unanimously at a meeting of the state executive.
The union said it stands with the Bahujan Party and its election symbol, the window. The leaders said the Bahujan Party has always fought for the rights of sanitation workers, the Valmiki community and deprived sections.
The union also said it has resolved to work for the victory of Bahujan Party candidates with the support of its 1.5 lakh members across 75 districts.
On the occasion, Bahujan Party state chief general secretary Ajay Kumar Rajvar expressed his gratitude to the union.
