RMPSU hosts innovation workshop to inspire student entrepreneurship

A special innovation workshop was organized today at Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University (RMPSU), Aligarh, by its Incubation Foundation. The event provided a platform for students from the science and agriculture faculties to present their innovative ideas, research-based concepts, and potential startup proposals. The initiative aimed to encourage students to move beyond classrooms and labs, fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and prototype development.

The workshop was part of the Incubation Foundation’s ongoing activities, which began recently. The Foundation Manager, Yogesh Tomar, engaged in detailed discussions with the students, evaluating their ideas for practicality, market potential, and entrepreneurial prospects. He emphasized that even a small but impactful idea could serve as the foundation for a successful startup. Tomar assured the students that the Incubation Foundation is committed to providing guidance and support to help them transform their ideas into viable ventures.

Students showcased ideas that linked research and innovation to social and economic utility. Proposals ranged from products and services to startup models, with experts offering initial feedback to help refine these concepts. The workshop also educated students on the steps required to turn an idea into a tangible project.

The event was coordinated by Gagan Pratap Singh and attended by faculty members, including Dr. Surbhi Gupta, Dr. Devendra Kumar Verma, Dr. Mohd. Zuhaib, Dr. Awadhesh Kumar, and Dr. Neha Agarwal.
