Pratapgarh Ramlila Samiti elects new leadership for 2026 celebrations

The Shri Ramlila Samiti of Pratapgarh, an organization deeply connected to the religious, cultural and historical heritage of the town, has elected its office-bearers for the year 2026 during an important meeting of devotees held at the Gopal Mandir committee office. The gathering focused on preparations for the upcoming historic Bharat Milap, Dussehra and grand procession events scheduled to take place this year, with members pledging to make the celebrations memorable and dignified.

The election of office-bearers was conducted unanimously by committee members and devotees present at the meeting. Sanjay Khandelwal has been re-elected as president, while Vipin Gupta will serve as secretary. Manish Gupta has been entrusted with the responsibility of treasurer, and Dinesh Singh Dinnu will function as coordinator. Senior social worker Roshanlal Umarvaishya has been appointed as patron of the committee, marking the completion of the leadership structure for the historic religious event.

Following the election of office-bearers, the devotees present at the meeting welcomed and felicitated the newly chosen leaders by garlanding them. The entire Gopal Mandir premises resonated with chants of Jai Shri Ram as the devotees expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming celebrations. Those present at the gathering unanimously took a pledge to work with complete dedication toward making Pratapgarh's glorious Ramlila tradition even more magnificent and to ensure the success of the historic Bharat Milap, Dussehra and procession.

Dinesh Singh Dinnu, the coordinator of the committee, congratulated all newly elected office-bearers and devotees and emphasized that Pratapgarh's Bharat Milap and Dussehra are not merely religious events but represent the historical and cultural identity of the district. He appealed to all devotees to cooperate with body, mind and wealth in the service of Lord Shri Ram, stating that the collective efforts of everyone would take this year's event to new heights.

Roshanlal Umarvaishya, patron of the committee and senior social worker, said that preparations for the grandeur and success of the event should begin in a planned manner from now onwards. He stressed that all office-bearers should discharge their responsibilities with complete sincerity and dedication so that Pratapgarh's historic Bharat Milap and Dussehra can become even more attractive, grand and memorable this year. The devotees present at the meeting took a pledge to work unitedly for the service of Lord Shri Ram and the success of the event, accompanied by resounding chants of Jai Shri Ram.

The meeting witnessed the presence of hundreds of devotees including Shyam Shankar Singh, Avnish Pratap Singh Guddu, Ashish Jaiswal Sabhasad, Ajay Kasaudhan, Deepesh Jain, Chhotu, Anshum Jaiswal, Pankaj Mishra, Rajesh Umarvaishya, Sanjay Jain, Deepesh Advocate, Dharmendra Chaurasia, Raju Sharma, Abhishek Gautam, Vivek Yadav, Akash Rawat, Venkatesh Agrawal, Pankaj Shukla, Avnish, Rohit, Tejas Gupta, Bunty Neta, Abhishek Kashyap and Anand Soni, among many others who participated in the proceedings.
